About our name

Pronounced “koo-koo-ah-sah”, our company name is comprised of two Japanese characters (known as “kanji”): an archaic, but fun, word for happy (“kuku”) and the common word for hemp (“asa”). The kanji themselves have nature themes within each character such as trees and feathers, giving rise to the ideals of a beautiful and serene Japanese garden. It's this calm and peaceful state of mind that we want to share with others through the power of CBD.

About our CBD

We are committed to providing our customers with quality CBD products. We currently specialize in broad spectrum (THC-free) CBD. Because the process of removing THC from the hemp plant can also remove some of the other beneficial components of the plant, we strive to equalize that by adding back extra cannabinoids and terpenes; thus, enhancing the beneficial effects of the CBD. We also guarantee that all of our products contain the actual amount of CBD that's stated on the label as shown on our Certificates of Analysis (COA's) that are obtained by a third-party lab.

All of our products are manufactured in the USA using only American grown industrial hemp. Everything we make is third-party tested, 100% natural*, pesticide-free, alcohol-free, non-GMO, and vegan.
